Not difficult once the tank is properly cycled and holds an alkaline pH. The challenge with Sulawesi shrimp is keeping parameters from swinging, not the shrimp themselves.

pH 7.8–8.5, TDS 150–250 ppm, GH 6–8, KH 3–6, 27–30°C. Stability matters most: small regular water changes (10–15% weekly) beat one large change.

Mixes well with other Sulawesi species on the same alkaline parameters and with Sulawesi snails. Never mix with Bee/Taiwan Bee shrimp (they need acidic water) or fish big enough to eat shrimp.
