About Black BOA & grading
BOA is a premium Caridina (bee/pinto family) line — a black base with blue-and-white galaxy markings. This is the Common (grade S) tier. Higher grades (SS/SSS) are graded closely by color base and will be offered as separate high-grade listings.
Age options
Juvies: great value to grow out and watch develop.
Adult: fully formed color and shape, ready to pair and breed.
Care (Caridina)
Active soil substrate; cool water around 20–24°C.
Soft, low pH 5.8–6.8; low TDS (~100–150).
A mature tank with stable parameters and gentle filtration.
Tip: re-dose beneficial bacteria with Gray Powder (Caridina Bacteria).
Note
Caridina shrimp are sensitive: they need a fully cycled tank and stable parameters. Acclimate very slowly on arrival to avoid shock.
