Why buy extra males?
A closed colony inbreeds over time: fewer eggs, weaker shrimplets, washed-out colour and off-type culls. Adding unrelated males is the cheapest way to refresh the gene pool without starting the colony over.
How many should I add?
Three to five males is usually enough for a mid-sized colony to show a difference within a couple of broods. For larger tanks, message us and we will advise based on your numbers.
It's out of stock — when will it return?
Males are separated batch by batch, so availability moves constantly. Message us to be told when your group is back in stock.
